Our New Adventure

It's time for us to start the next chapter of our lives! And we are so excited! We are moving up to...

where we will both be going to school full time, and living HERE!!! Our very own house!

JUST KIDDING... we'll be living on campus in family housing, living poor, and loving life! We can wait for our own space. We have enjoyed living with Dale and Nona, but call me silly... I can't wait to use my own dishes, decorate as much as we can in a dorm, walk around the house naked if I want to, scrub my own floors, the whole experience!

We'll be moving up the end of July or the beginning of August! We can't wait!

Our Honeymoon

Well... I guess it's about time I finally post about our honeymoon. Despite not having a voice due to a cold for the first three days and Scott having a sinus infection and pink eye the whole time, our cruise to Mexico was FABULOUS. Enjoy the pictures we post :)

ON THE BOAT:

CABO SAN LUCAS: DUNE BUGGIES (3 different beaches, going around town, and racing out in the dessert. so fun!)

MAZATLAN: HIKE TO THE LIGHT HOUSE AND THE BEACH

THIS IS THE LIGHTHOUSE!!!! ^

PUERTO VALLARTA: ZIP LINING (and a 72 foot rope ladder... yikes)

We had such an amazing time. We recommend cruises to EVERYONE! There were so many things that we didn't get pictures of. The boat had so many fun shops, an ice skating rink, mini golfing, lots of fun pools and hot tubs, and a rock climbing wall! We went to lots of great shows, met so many fabulous people, and enjoyed our time together. Crazy but we've almost been married for 2 months!

Call Me Crazy

Call Me Crazy...but I love these doors! Not so crazy about the rug, but I would love to incorporate these stall doors into my home some day! Thoughts?

Spending time on the temple grounds.
Loving work more and more every day.
50+ close friends coming together to celebrate your upcoming marriage. (THANKS MELYNDA!)

Long picnics with Scotty.

Going through the temple for the first time. I cannot express the feelings that were felt while I was in the house of the Lord. This quote tells it all. Seeing my parents, in-laws, and siblings in the temple was the most amazing feeling. I didn't know Scott could be any more attractive... until I saw him in the temple.
"When you come to the temple you will love your family with a deeper love than you have ever felt before. The temple is about families. . . . It extends to parents, brothers and sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, forebears, and especially our grandchildren! This is the Spirit of Elijah, which is the spirit of family history work; and when inspired by the Holy Ghost, it prompts the turning of the hearts of the fathers to the children and the hearts of the children to the fathers. Because of the priesthood, husbands and wives are sealed together, children are sealed to their parents for eternity so the family is eternal and will not be separated at death."
